Fantastic concert!! No gimmicks, no costume changes, no synchronised movements. Just a man on a piano and a bunch of boys in sailor outfits.
I think angels must sound like that too, or if not, at least 80% like that.
Saw some of the boys fidgeting every now and then and I wondered, these are 8 to 13 year-old who would rather be catching spiders or climbing a tree. (oops, I forgot, it's not the 70s or 80s anymore, they just wanna get their brains fried with Playstation or WII.)
And I wonder what they will grow up to become. With this on their resume, the worst they could do is become a support Broadway singer. But it doesn't matter what they become, does it? They are already so accomplished and have brought joy to so many people in their childhood that's it's probably enough to last a lifetime.
If religion speaks to the soul, art must come in second almost close.
