The Choir Boys

Sometimes Arts Central really surprises me. Rather, I have frequently ignored it and remained oblivious to the excellent films they sometimes show.

Here's a good one shown 2 Sundays ago.

Apparently by the same people who made The Birdcage, it's about a musician (failed) who started teaching at a problematic boys' boarding school. It starts off slow and has sudden bursts of touching and hilarious moments.

It was one of those films that I couldn't bear for it to end.
